Foolproof Guide To Filling Brows In 3 Easy Steps

“I’m sure those with sparse eyebrows have tried to solve their dilemma by filling brows only to look clown-ish.

Well, luckily this post and will teach you exactly how to have professionally done looking eyebrows that even Cara Delevingne would be jealous of.

Step 1: Groom Your Brows

Before filling them in make sure to properly trim and pluck so you have clean looking brows and it looks beauty on you. You don’t want to fill it in only to have random stray hairs around.

Step 2: Choose The Appropriate Colour and Product Type

First of all there are three main types of products you can use to fill in brows

  • Eyebrow Pencil
  • Eyebrow Gel
  • Matte Eye-shadow
  • Brow Per

Now these are based on your preference, as they all give almost identical results. Although if you’re going for a gradient effect it is much better to use the pencil or shadow because the darkness can be lighter. Check out the best rated brow kits here.

For choosing a colour, make sure you pick one that fits your eyebrow colour closely. Most of the problems of filling brows comes at this step because if you pick one that’s too dark it looks over done and un-natural. Try out the product on your hand and make sure that it is 1-2 shades lighter than your brow colour. The exception is light blonde hair, where you can go a little darker.

NOTE: Never use black in any instance, only dark brown!

Step 3: Apply

This is pretty straight-forward. Just apply onto the brow and if you didn’t use the gel then use the eyebrow brush to smooth out the colour and apply clear mascara. This will help to keep the eyebrow hairs in place all day. Side note: use one thin layer, you don’t want to feel goopy brows.

EXTRA TIP:

If you want to spice things up a bit and make brows pop you can apply foundation or a white powder around brows.

See, filling your brows isn’t that hard! Try it out for yourself and make sure to comment below!”
