Andaman Islands, India
Five hundred seventy-two islands make up the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They are located at the junction of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman sea. Only 38 of the 572 islands are inhabited.
The Andaman group can be separated from the Nicobar group via a 150km wide channel called the Ten Degree Channel. Tourists and backpackers will find plenty of attractions in this archipelago.
